Sliver Splash: Low-moderate Intensity - 45 minutes
Activate your urge for variety! Splash offers fun, shallow water movement to improve agility and flexibility while addressing cardiovascular, strength and endurance conditioning. No swimming ability is required and a kick board or other equipment is used to improve strength, balance and coordination.
Kick Boxing: High Intensity - 45 minutes
Sculpt your body with this wonderful combination of muscular endurance and kickboxing moves in the water. Appropriate for: Individuals who have moderate to good fitness levels; individuals with controlled medical conditions who can manage some impact; individuals who enjoy intense use of all muscle groups; athletes and swimmers looking for an "aqua alternative." Senior Walking (aka Water Walking): Moderate Intensity- 45 minutes
A moderate intensity cardiovascular program with continuous walking in shallow water, while using the upper body to increase circulation, flexibility and improve body tone. No swimming required. YMCA consent form required, updated annually.
Swimnastics: Moderate Intensity - 45 minutes
A moderate-high intensity cardiovascular program. Includes aerobics in the water with muscle strengthening and toning. Should be comfortable in the water. YMCA consent form required, updated annually.
Deep Water: High Intensity - 45 minutes
A high intensity cardiovascular workout in deep water. Come out and do what the professional athletes do for cross training. Great for improving strength, endurance, and body tone. Minimal stress on joints. Must be able to swim in deep water. YMCA consent form required, updated annually.
Aqua Heat: High Intensity - 45 minutes
A cardio workout done in the pool combining dance and fitness moves to the sounds of Latin, World Rhythms and Today's Pop Music. A class jammed packed with fun and fitness. YMCA consent form required, updated annually.
