Marilyn Brahms – Head Coach

Marilyn has been affiliated with the Gloucester County YMCA since 1976.  She has personally trained here and also taught a variety of classes from Water Babies to Masters.   She considers the Gloucester County YMCA her “home” facility.  Marilyn retired in 2010 from Cherry Hill High School East where she taught Chemistry and was Head Coach of Boys Swim Team.  She continues to share her passion for swimming with the members of The Gloucester County YMCA Tridents.

Kristina Reddell – Assistant Head Coach/Team Manager

Kristina took to the water as a toddler.  She started competitive swimming in 2005 and competed throughout her high school career at Paul VI.  She majored in Biology at Rowan University and has recently been accepted into their nursing program.  In recent years, she has been a dedicated member of the YMCA staff and teaching swimming at all levels.  Kristina also initiated and maintains the summer competitive swimming program here at the Y and was instrumental in our membership into the Suburban Swimming Association of New Jersey.

Nick Dalessandro – Assistant Coach

Nick has been a lifeguard here at the Gloucester County YMCA since high school.  He is now a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School where he swam competitively for all four years.  Last year, as a Jr. Assistant Coach, he helped maintain out weight training program while participating as a senior member of the Tridents squad.  Nick’s role this year will be expanded as he works with his former teammates to share his enthusiasm and experience.

The Gloucester County YMCA is committed to protecting the children we serve. While we cannot eliminate all threats, we want to do what we can to ensure that the children in our care are safe. When entering the Y all members, participants and guests must have a valid picture ID which will be scanned through a national child abuse database. If a sex offender match occurs, the YMCA reserves the right to cancel membership, end program participation, and remove visitation access. We appreciate your cooperation.
