Our School Age Child Care (SACC) program is designed to provide fun and enriching before and after school care within your child’s school. Operating under a license from the NJ Department of Children and Families, our trained staff provide a nurturing and safe environment for each child. Within a play-based environment, our program emphasizes the Y’s six core values of character development—caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, courage, and inclusion. We are committed to offering each child the opportunity to develop their self-confidence and social skills while participating in developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate creativity and encourage learning through fun and discovery. Students in pre-k through grade 5 may attend. A limited number of 3-year-olds may be enrolled. Please contact the office to inquire about enrolling a 3-year-old.
Our programs take place within your child’s own elementary school in Woodbury (West End, Walnut, Evergreen) Wenonah, Upper Pittsgrove, and South Harrison.

The Gloucester County YMCA is committed to protecting the children we serve. While we cannot eliminate all threats, we want to do what we can to ensure that the children in our care are safe. When entering the Y all members, participants and guests must have a valid picture ID which will be scanned through a national child abuse database. If a sex offender match occurs, the YMCA reserves the right to cancel membership, end program participation, and remove visitation access. We appreciate your cooperation.
